[QUOTE=kopite] I do have this from a ex-player who still carrys out some scouting work for Liverpool when not on Sky. The reason I know him is that I take
all the evidence points to pennant instead of alves
with pennant being less skilled & more unpredictable
but leaving more transfer options open on a limited budget
unless such strong indications of a pennant purchase
are to try & force del nido`s hand

Here's todays dodgy rumours from that site (someone tell me if they appear on KT!!)
Those who think that Liverpool are going to sign Villa from Valencia, think again. We've not been officially linked with him! He's far too expensive. Pennant's 6 million transfer acception is merely as joke as it is a smokescreen for Alves to join. Alves has encountered a number of problems yet should finally wrap up the deal. Those who are enquiring the Juve Liverpool link, Trzegeut is still an option although it has quietended. Alonso is going nowhere as hed just modeled Liverpools new away kit(You will see him playing in it next season) Rafa should sign 1 or 2 more players by the end of this week. That greek kid aint one of them, if he signs he'll be in the reserves. Thats all. YNWAFrogman
Liverpool will not sign Pennant, it is a ruse to hurry Seville up. Alves WILL sign for Liverpool. Also coming in is 2 Valencia players-Villa and Rufete as cover for Alves. Garcia WILL go to Valencia as part of the Villa deal. Then Kromkamp will move to Ajax in a swap deal for Hedwigs Maduro. OUTS- Jerzy Dudek will go to Portsmouth for 2m. Diao and Traore to Charlton. Pongolle to Osasuna. Le Tallec to Lyon.

I have been told by a liverpool groundsman to take tuesday august 1st off work and get myself down to anfield. This is because david villa, daniel alves, jermaine pennant and the krafts will be presented to the public and the media. I have also been told that steve morgan might have something to do with the takeover. We wont have the same money as chelsea but that dosent matter as rafa is a better manager than mourinho, and with these 3 signings(and maybe 2 more before september) we will be a better team. number 19 is coming home!!!!

Latest dodgy news from http://www.football-rumours.com/dodgy.htm
I am currently living in Bangkok and met Steve Mcmahon(tv sports presenter for Asian Cable) in a restuarant. He said the deal with the Krafts is virtually done, although there is a dispute over what role Moores will play in the future. Macca says Villa is a no goer, alves is almost a certainty as Finnan is not of the required class. Also expect some youngsters to be coming in, possibly a few from Spain (with buy back clauses, as these clubs dont want egg on there face)....Sawadee Kup...Stucci

Another load of bile :)
After scott carson signed a new 5 year contract with liverpool, it seems jerzy dudeks days at anfield are numbered. Both pompey and wigan are said to be interested. Salif daio will sign on at sheff utd any day now (hopefully) and traore can choose between charlton, lille and blackburn. Tottenham and Osasuna are interested in harry kewell and if the price is right he will be let go. Luis garcia will stay but might leave in january. Jan Krompkamp will also stay. There is a lot happening at board room level which has restricted rafa to 20 mill to spend. There will be an anouncement soon revealing stadium plans, new investment and one or two major signings.
i have heard liverpool will join the race to sign kerlon the new brazilian kid an alves an villa deals are done plus the krafts are take over bid will happen next week after these 3 signings
