Isn't Manfredo fighting Calzaghe? Imagine Roy Jones hammers Manfredo? Calzaghe would get even less credit for fighting him than he is now!:haha:

Just got this months "The Ring" magazine and it is mentioned as being in the set up stage for a January clash between Jones and Manfredo.

I wonder if it will be a case if this fight goes ahead, that the winner meets Calzaghe.

Seems a way to raise the profile of the winner before posibly meeting Joe. Warren is scum.

Dreadful isn't it? 4 years ago I would've like to see Roy Jones Vs Calzaghe but not now. Jermaine Taylor or Mikkel Kessler are the only 2 opponents that Frank Warren should be looking at for the next Calzaghe fight. Make a real fight that will whet the appetite of boxing fans.

Warren actually back up his words and deliver a big fight? Won't happen for as long as he thinks he can line his pockets by getting people to buy into fights against lower class fighters.

tend to agree Kurt.
Jones now owuld be wasting his time fighting, he just doesnt have the same mental and physical approach as he used to. He is possibly the greatest technician i have ever seen in the ring, just a pity he lost focus trying to be the hollywood boxer.
