I doubt it - I don't think we'll be seeing a 'big money' signing. We might be wating to see what happens in Italy, as to whether try and get a couple of bargains from there.

It's not Rafa's style to buy 'Big money' players. He preferes to find players who can do a good job for the team with a specific role i.e. Crouch & Momo. I have every faith he will unearth us a gem or two. As Cacodemon said maybe he is waiting to see what happens in Italy. We could see a massive pre-season sale. No one will want to play in seria b or c will they?

Joaquin would be a quality player for Liverpool, he is quick, strong, can cross and shoot. I think he's Madrid bound though. Unless Madrid go for that diving scumbag fake Ronaldo i don't think we'd have a chance. I think he could end up costing a lot of money. If it is a big cover up it would be to stop Chavski starting a bidding war and paying way over the odd's like they did with SWP.
