Valencia are a good team...very happy for Morientes as well...
But I'm a bit surprised they let Aimar go...and to Real Zaragoza of all places!!
yes strange decision that, but when you look at their squad they can afford to let him go.
beautiful flowing football tonight,typical valencia
Maybe his injuries have taken their toll.

Maybe his injuries have taken their toll.
Maybe, but in the few games he appeared last season, he seemed pretty good. And he is still 26.
Valencia during this decade has been known for their free-flowing football characterized by two quality wingers at each side (Kily Gonzalez, Vicente, Aimar). Now that Aimar is gone, I was wondering who his replacement is?

i was actually very surprised to read about this, considering how much they've sold him for..
when you take in mind that the Scum have paid anything from 15-16 million for Carrick, the Aimar sale is incredible.
incidentally,hello to everyone..this is my first post.

Hi there KopiteCalling, nice to meet another poster here:handshake:
I too don't understand the Aimar transfer, I haven't followed him closely enough to know if his injuries have caused some longterm problems.
He was fantastic, will be interesting to see what will happen in his future

No need to thank me :D
I hope you like est1892. As I said many times before, it is still in its infancy but with the number of old koptalkers moving over, I think its a matter of time before this site burgeons into something even bigger than Koptalk.
Koptalk has a lot of quality posters, shame we can't say the same about its owner.

Nando from what I have seen looks more comfortable with the style of play and the slow build up that usally happens with Spainish sides. I always liked him but he never could find his feet in the Premeership and at Liverpool but good luck to the lad,

Hi Welhung!
D.Oldham as the est1892 owner???
The owner is one of the admins. Probably Paul G or MrMichael. They are also ex-Koptalkers.
The fact that I don't know who the owners are is a good sign. The problem with Koptalk is that the site became way too personalized. Too many stuff out there was about Oldham, Steve and their family; Oldham exposed himself to personal criticism. The good and rightful owner of an LFC site should be operating as an admin and taking a backseat while enjoying the fun himself.
Welcome to est1892 btw!
