A Friend of mine supports the 'Trotters' apparently Their Fa Cup game against Arsenal they have only been given 2,000 tickets. The rest of the tickets for Arse fans, which have sold out.

Bolton rarely have 2,000 thousand fans going down to any Away game but I was wondering doesn't the FA have rules in place where in the Fa cup games, the home team must allocate 10-15% of tickets to the away team.

I remember last year in the FA Cup between Scum and us there where at least 4,000 scum fans in the lower Anfield road stand being shat on.

So much for creating a cup atmosphere then

Yeah, and that soul-less stadium needs all the atmosphere it can get

There is a rule that states that you get a certain percentage, however the clubs get around this by getting the police on their side & stating that it is a crowd control issue, thus limiting the amount of tickets given to away sides. I know the Arse have done this for the 2nd legs of the CC against Spurs also. :grr:

Bolton would of only wanted 2k-3k, their away support is pitiful so they'd never sell the amount they're entitled to to be fair. Arsenal were entitled to 6k against us but only took 4.5k allocation instead, depends on what they think they can sell.

Arsenal also wanted to knock down the price of the tickets but Spurs said no cos they needed the money!
