I know a lad who doesn't really support a team, but is big into football. His sole footballing purpose is to hate us. I think it's because we won everything while he was growing up, but he hates us to an alarming extent.

Anyway, he reckons the CL win in 2005 was a fluke (naturally) but even more ludicrously reckons last season's good league campaign was "a total fluke" and we'll come 6th (SIXTH) this season. Sissoko is "shit", Alonso is "overrated", our strikers are all "shit" as are all of our new signings, our manager is "defensive", we play "boring football" and are "essentially a one-man team".
