Simao showed us what we would've been buying but I don't think Alves was his usual self.
One player that stood out for me was Quaresma. If we're not in for him now that we have the cash it'll be a travesty!

ya, Quaresma is probably the best winger left for us to buy IMO. All the other top draw ones are already gone.
FWIW Portugal have some outstanding wingers coming through the ranks at the moment (they always have).
Nani looks very lively...a tad lightweight maybe.
Barbosa looks great
and David Caiado is apparently the next wing wizard coming through the ranks at Sporting.
For a team lacking in wingers, we really should be looking at Portugal for some talent.
