I don't really 'do' polls mate.

Amnd anyway, give it to somebody else than Gerrard. It gets boring giving it to SuperMan EVERYtime.

Hehe ok mate. Sissoko will be huge this season. Judging by yesterdays game, he has improve his passing a bit.

That lad's gonna be on the best midfielders in the World in a few years time.

Thought crouch looked good and sharp yesterday. some nice touch play and got a couple of good shots away. Pennant had a good game. Gerrard looked good after he came on also.

Agree Ryan. He's a fcuking monster on the pitch. I can't fcuking wait for him to 'EAT' Ballack and Lampard on the 13th.

His close control and passing have improved enormously ovee the past year.

Admittedly he couldn't hit the side of a bus with a GPRS guided elephant, but he's not there to score, so why worry about it?

Yeah but Crouch should at least score one yesterday.

                      Very true.

Whilst it's great to see him so high on confidence, it'b be even better to see him scoring goals.

I know it's early days, but he really should be looking to improve significantly on last season's 7 league goals.

                        Exactly Ryan.

Personally speaking Ryan, i think he has to improve his header first before anything because it'll make a full use of his height. Pennant's cross will flow in non-stop from the right and he shoud be ready for that.

To be honest mate, if we get another striker (Kuyt or whomever) I can see Crouch's role being reduced to that of an 'impact sub' similar to the way Eriksson used him for England for a while.

We'll not win the league with him up front, but could definitely use the 'something different' he'd give us of the bench in the final 20 mins of the game if we needed to change tact.

Oh, and I'm with you on the 'improving his heading' bit too mate.

                              6 foot 7 and he's got a head on him like a sherriff's badge.
