I'm coming over in february for the derby. I'll go with 3 mates who's never been to Anfield. I'm very interested in hearing what I can expect when it comes to the atmosphere. I really want to experience Anfield at it's best, and also hope my friends will be impressed since it will be they're first time. So?

You will experience Anfield at close to its best. It won't quite be Chelsea or Roma or St Etienne, but it'll be as good as it gets for a league game (with the possible exception of the Mancs).

Your mates cannot fail to be impressed.

I don't think anything will top Chelsea 2005.

The atmosphere for the derby should be great, especially if Everton are having a decent season. I think the atmosphere is always beter when there is a little more to play for.

I hope you and your mates have a great time though.

best atmosphere you get is at the derby, apart from the chavs semi-final in 05. make sure you get tickets sorted soon though because they're hard to come by.

i can't go to that match because my missus is expecting our first baby and she is due on the 4th of february, the day after the derby and she says i can't go:sigh: , so i have to be at home playing the waiting game!:D

enjoy yourself though.

We've bought the trip thrue a company in Norway, who sell packages(tickets+hotel), so the tickets are garantied. Only way for me to get tickets for that game.

I can only say that because my girlfriend doesn't read what I write on here.

She would cut my nuts off if I tried to go to a game if she was expecting!
