Scum v Chelsea final then. Well done the FA.

It has been a poor FA Cup this year, and not just cos we were knocked out early. There haven't been enough shocks and there have been too many poor games. Yesterday's Chavs v Spurs match almost restored my faith but then Blackburn v City and the Watford v Plymouth games weren't very good.

Surprise surprise, the big two kept apart.

Does anyone care about the FA cup this year?

well FA are doing what they can for the Chgav's manc final.
For what it's worthm, I think Blackburn maybe the jokers in the pack and may just upset the form book.

the chelski - spurs match was good yesterday

Since we made a tactical withdrawal from the competition I've had no interest whatsoever in who wins it.

As long as it's not the Mancs.

Thats the biggest fix ever.

First final at the new Wembley, they were hardly likely to want Watford or Blackburn there.

would like to see blackburn win it this season out of who's left anyway.

yesterdays games were good so its only dull because were not in it.

hopefully man u and chelsea get knocked out and we have a boro vs blackburn final.

Boro v Manure and Chavc V Spurs was probably the best games so far.

With the new stadium they want the top teams to play in it i.e Manure vChelski this is what they wanted and now what they have

I'm desperate for Chelsea to get past Spurs, and then Blackburn, simply to prevent the Mancs from doing the Double. I'd be truly sickened if they do the Double.

Same here. Amazing how all the pieces are falling beautifuly in place for the Mancs at exactly the right time. It pains me to say it but I am 100% certain that they will at least win the double :(

We will have to stop them from doing the treble in Athens.

I actually wanted the draw to separate the two big teams. At least with Chelsea and the Mancs it might be an half decent final.

I went wild yesterday when Chelsea equalised. :shake:

They'll win the Double, but I fancy Roma to do 'em in Europe cos the Mancs are fucking wank in the CL.

Could still be a treble on for either team, they could meet in the other final as well.

Be good to see chavs stomp all over them in the FA Cup final, then we hammer them in the CL Final - scum would be devastated for years to come.

Anywho, chances are it will be a Chelsea V Manure final, I don't know which is the lesser of two evils. Probably the chavs to be fair.

It would, wouldn't it? To be crowned FA cup glory before taking their rightful place back in the Championship...

In one way you want the top teams playing in the FA Cup final year in year out, thats what makes it good.

You dont want to see two leeser teams play in it like a division 3 side and a championship side, it wouldnt have the same appeal or excitement around the world.

It's weird. When Spurs were battering Chelsea and Maureen was going beserk on the touch line I was laughing my arse off. And then as soon as it dawned on me that a Chelsea loss would mean United winning the cup I was willing them to peg Spurs back.

Like you, I went insane when Chelsea equalised. I think I even pumped my fist up in the air at least 5 times :shake:

I agree. I think the last two seasons have helped restore the status of the FA cup due to the teams that have been involved during the later stages of the competition.

And the lesser teams do shit in the UEFA cup, gotta ask if the losers of a cup final really do deserve their place in the UEFA cup, how can losers be rewarded anyway, a bit like losers in the CL rounds get dumped into the UEFA cup - it just cheapens & devalues the UEFA Cup.

20/1 for Boro to win the cup. If they squeezed past Man Utd, they'd be dead certs to beat Watford, then it's just the final.

I think 20/1 are fantastic odds.

UEFA themselves devalued the UEFA Cup years ago and have made it Europe's version of the Carling Cup. If Boro under Steve McClaren can make the final it has to be a joke!!
There are about 4 good teams in the whole competiton each year, and that's being generous.

Anyway technically its the winners of the FA Cup who get into the UEFA Cup, it just usually happens that the winners have already qualified for Europe so the losers get in by default!!

Admittedly I felt very dirty as I wanted the Chavs to win vs Spurs. The only team really capable to beating the Scum would be the Chavs. Fecking sad realisation :shake:

........ I would love to see Blackburn make their way out on to the hallowed Wembley turf in May, even if they didn t win it - it would be great to think of one L.Neil sitting in his kitchen counting his money, and calling himself a money grabbing, no respecting son of a c***, and wishing he was still at Ewood Park :) .

And if he missed out on a FA Cup Winners medal ......... well FUKIN played son :finger: - COCK !

Of course I fucking wouldn't!

But, regardless of whether we're in it or not, the fact remains it's been a poor FA Cup (rescued to a small extent by the Chelsea-Spurs game last week). As has been said already, there's been hardly any (if any) shocks, very few big games and even fewer great games.
