View Full Version : since when does contact mean its a foul??
football is a contact sport, at the end of the day there is no argument for ronaldo not being a cheat just because there is minimal contact, the contact is not enough to knock him over so he is still diving/cheating by going down
the funny thing is tho you can see in his eyes just how clever he thinks he is, he dosent realise that nobody will have any respect for him when his career is finished
the stupid portugese fanny dosent even realise that if he stayed on his feet and scored a goal instead of going down all the time how many great goals he might score
just watch george best in this video clip, imagine if he went down on every challenge he rides in it, we would all be saying now, george best who was here? because he wouldnt have never got anywhere near the oppositions goal to start with

Strangely enough i never saw you have a go at our beloved Stevie G when he won us a couple of soft penalties a few weeks back.
Ronaldo is a class act. I'd give my right nut to have him in our side.
i think it was a peno, the contact was enough to shift his balance. he's a dirty **** but at the end of the day the ref got it right...

your another one brainwashed, it was nowhere near enough contact to go down, its turning into a fucking girls game, im gonna wash my hands of it soon its pathetic

you really are a sad little **** aren't you :haha: i still feel it was a peno having watched about 20 times and theres nothing a **** like you can do to change it. but weather or not he could have carried on or not is a different question, he was fouled in the box. foul in the box = penalty...

he wasnt fouled in the box tho you dumb ****, he was mildly touched and then went down to make it look like a foul, like i said your just another prick fooled by the ****, just like the referees
this is what happens when pricks like you, and referees like you, have an opinion on a game that you no doubt have never played in your life
Do you two want to stop with the petty name calling?
It's called having a difference of opinion.

:haha:
Yeah, you dumb ****!!
Wouldn't it be ace if pundits on Sky, who were having a difference of opinion, carried on like that. :haha:

its not a difference of opinion, hes talking out of his arse and im just telling it how it is :haha:
and he started with the name calling, the funny thing being if he was in the same room as me calliing me it id snap his fucking neck, another keyboard warrior
:haha:
Yeah, you dumb ****!!

You are a bit of a tit really, aren't you? :haha:
Yes, Diego did start the name calling, however saying you'd snap his fucking neck, is a really a bit silly.
...and I'd suggest you're the keyboard warrior! :haha:
Fucking ridiculous.

people that dont play the game have a strange opinion of what makes someone fall over. i wouldn't have even felt what alot of people nowadays call penalties. seems the players focus on and look for contact and then go down and no one calls them a cheat. people also think contact = penalty. fookin crazy.

finally somebody who knows what they are talking about, if contact = penalty you would have to award a penalty for virtually everytime a cross was put into the penalty area if a defender was leaning on an attacker
like i said the games full of fans and referees who have never played the game, brainwashed by the cheats that now plague our game, its quite sad really that this is what it has come too :(
I said in the match thread last night that it was a total dive. Woodgate didn't even make contact with Ronaldo - Ronaldo saw the challenge coming and made contact with him by flinging his leg out. Cheating twat.
It sickens me that pundits like Redknapp and Wilkins are agreeing that this is a pen. Old skool (well, Wilkins anyway) players and still they think this is a pen? :shake:
It was the same with Kalou's cheating to win a pen out of Micah Richards the other week. They all said that was a pen too. Laughable.

im just explaining the reality of what would happen if a stranger walked into my house and said to me what he is said to me on here
nothing silly about it really it was just a factual statement :)

its because the reward fot the cheating is so great, a free blast at the goal from 12 yards, where as 9/10 if they stayed on their feet and dont cheat they arent gonna score anyways
its about time the penalty spot was moved further back IMO and made a bit more difficult, something to discourage these cheating bastards from running into the box with the soul aim of winning a penalty

not to start an all out war :D but you really are something mr. know it all. your like marky when he was called a little (something), he actually had to point out how tall he was in real life :crackoff: as for name calling before you call on me again, i called you a **** cause thinking you know better that the rest. ohh and by the way whos the internet warrior hiding behind the keyboard claiming he's a neck snapper...
the funny thing is on, on the other side of the coin - 'real sunday league football' - because of these cheating bastards diving every week I'm getting fucking snapped left right and centre every sunday morning and I don't get fuck all from it cause if anyone goes anywhere near the ground in Sunday League everyone calls you a diving bastard and the referee won't give anything. You literally have to be assaulted before the ref has glance :haha: - it never used to be like this til the world went diving mad, nobody ever dived, and if it was a foul it was given.

i agree with mike g
im sick of players going over at the slightest touch, its so obvious as well
ive noticed it's down to the refs in each game to get control of it, sadly in england the refs are shit. if they set the tone early that they are not going to call the "ronaldo fouls" the players stop diving because they lose possession and look like idiots.
and while im ranting the double standards in the game were clear to see last night. rooney should have gone twice, i saw the ref reaching for his pocket the second time, but it seemed as if someone whispered in his earpiece to let rooney off. it was a disgrace

And Gerrard's against Sheffield Utd. :eyebrow:
Anyway, Ronaldo gave it away in his radio interview. "He touched me and I went over." Not 'he hacked me and I lost my balance' or 'he tripped me and I fell over'.
It's objectionable behaviour but he's not the only one to do it.

ronaldo is going to keep doing it, as his manager clearly turns a blind eye to it. it would be interesting to see what alex would say if someone was to win a couple of soft penalties against them!
