Financially, I think it's fair to say that should we bugger things up against Haifa, then we may well be reconsidering the Kuyt deal and looking for a cheaper, 'second/third/fourth best' option again (IF anyone)... The financial implications again are, well, of paramount importance and relevance to our current situation..

I can't believe people think it'll be such a walkover... are we really in such good shape yet? Certainly not physically going off our last few friendlies, and Haifa are no pushover, not at this stage of the (not even started) season anyway..

I do believe we'll go thrue, but I'm not THAT confident. But remember that M. Haifa will start theire season at the same time as we do. They wont be in top shape either.

Cool, I wasn't sure about what stage they were at regarding when their season starts, that makes me feel 'a bit' better..

Just reading Carra's interview, and he's right in saying that the're tougher opposition than any we've met in qualification before.. Hopefully Stevie/Bellamy/whoever will play a blinder..

Last year they were knocked out in the qual rounds by Malmų from Sweden. 5-4. The quality of swedish football is the same as in Norway. Dont worry, mate.

Just my thought... Malmö did beat them last year, and we´d beat Malmö with our reserves...

I'd go for a win. One or two nil.

I'm hoping that recent defensive performances will have helped to dispel any complacency after last season's heroics.

I also hope Pennant and Bellamy play tomorrow because I would expect them to be very motivated.
