    Oscar Vs Floyd.

Is not being shown live on Sky.

They don't have the funds to buy the rights to the fight apparently. Why the **** do I pay £60 a month then?

Not even on PPV as they estimate that they'll need 35,000 buys at £20 just to break even and they don't think they'll get that due to the fight being on at 200am.

The fight is being shown the following Friday night on Friday Fight Night. I hate watching sporting events when we already know the outcome.

Cannot say that I am surprised. Sky miss lots of top level fights, always have. De La Hoya has always been over looked for the most part by Sky. I'm sure they will have some WBU fight on at some stage that they will be billing as top level boxing.

Am glad that I am heading over now, rather than relying on trying to avoid the result to watch a rerun.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

The only decent fighter they show now is Hatton. We occasionally get a Barrera fight or a Taylor one. I was certain that we'd get this fight due to it being the biggest fight in Years. Obviously I was wrong.

I would rather they never showed the Barrera fight last month and put their money towards this fight.

Expect Hatton fights to be as good as it gets with Sky methinks. Their coverage of boxing is terrible, and the bias and lack of knowledge shown by some of their studio "experts" is shocking.

Yeah I have the full package aswell. I do buy quite a few films a month on Box office so perhaps that puts it up a notch. Add the months where we're on prem plus and it's probably over £60.

                              its a strange one alright.
I presume its golden boy promotions that wont cut their asking price.
So they would rather make no mooney, or very little from viewers in the UK & Ireland than get a reasonable few quid for showing it live?. Doesnt make sense does it.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
