Owen out for a whole season!

Just seen this link on the 'Insider Insider' website:

Firstly, note that Owen has somehow absorbed our new signing Paletta into his knee, only to then let himself down by misspelling him. And secondly, you'd have to be a very hard, unforgiving ******* not to feel sorry for the lad. I couldn't stand the sight of him after he spent a whole season dicking us around before leaving relatively cheaply and thought his missing out on a CL medal was just desserts, but all the injuries he's had since - no one deserves that. His career is well and truly ****ed.

While i feel sorry for Owen, i can't help but laugh at Freddy Shephard. How much did he pay for him again?
Switch off when not in use.

Thank god he we didnt re sign him then, although, injury free, i do believe he is an asset to any club he is with.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

              Poor little Tyke.

He really has suffered from some bad luck - some his own fault, some not.

You should never write Owen off - but it's going to take a lot for him to recover from this latest set back.
