Over the span of your entire gambling career are you up or down ?

Is there anyone who has genuinely kept track from the start ?

I've been gambling for about two years now, I reckon I'm 'only' a couple of hundred down overall.

About a few hundred up.

I've had a few big wins off some cracking tips. I don't keep a spreadsheet, but i only place a few bets a month.

I must be up by a fair bit, although i dont keep precise records.

I won over 7 grand in one weekend last season, so if i wasnt up, then i must've had a few big losses without knowing about them :D

I'm about 120 down on betfair since August 05, and about level on poker (although I only count since I actually learnt to play properly, so probably 50-100 down before then). For the enjoyment I've derived from it over the 18 months or so I've been 18, I'll take a tenner a month down on average.

Definitely down on the betting side over the years, never really done it "properly". Just to add some excitement if I'm watching a game. Or gone for something like 6 games combos and you know one of them will let you down.

Poker on the other hand is a different story. Bonuses and rakeback by themselves quarantee that you make money unless you are totally hopeless.

I know I'm definitely down over the years, but since I joined Betfair last year and taken more interest in the horses and selecting certain bets in football, and also reading what some so called 'experts' in sport betting have to say, I'm up most definitely.

Recent trends have been good, and I was up about £350 on the Cheltenham Festival and I won over £400 on Aintree and the National last weekend.

Let's hope it continues!

Im down by about £300 notes I reckon overall. Which aint to bad for the time Ive been doing it. I did once spunk £160 in twenty mins on a roulette machine though which is a ****. The rest has been on footy, fruitys, horseys and dogs.

Well, seems as the only "gambling" I ever do is the occasional quid in a fruit machine (only when a mate has filled it, so I can see if I can be a fluke and empty the thing on a quid)

i'd say overall.. down by no more than £10 or so :p

Most probably down.
Have been up on my soccer bets since end of November and been up on Poker for about a year. But I know I've whittled away money over the years.

Keeping a spreadsheet is a crackin' idea. I've done it with my Poker (playing SNGs in the last year) and footy bets.
You can build some good stats, and it helps you work out what bets are working for you and what are not.

Been a member of Betfair for almost 3 years and have deposited £3,900, and have withdrawn £4,500. So up on that site, but I recon overall about £2,000 down. Member of ladbrokes, bet365, pokerroom.com, Betfred, betsq. Pokerroom.com is a great site for mac users as you don't need to download the PC software to play. Up $600 in ten days. Also a member of most casino,
best win £800. biggest loss £600......... Not too bad overall been bettting for a bout 10 years. Only bet what u can afford to lose......
