Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

If only the players at the end of the passes were half decent to actually do something with the passes. Half of them either couldn't control the pass or fell over

You can only laugh when some so called experts say that Ronaldo will be as good as Maradona.

Maradona was the complete attacking playmaker.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If only he'd have had a right foot.

Then he might have made the grade.

Interesting that he rarely goes down when a lot of players in that position today would be writhing on the ground in supposed agony...

It's embarrassing how none of the players he's passing to are anywhere near his level, neither mentally or technically. They are laughably poor compared to him.

We will never see the likes of him again he had everything.
Unreal the only player to win a world cup single handedly (no pun intended)

That is why we will never see the likes of him again he always tried to stay on his feet.
That was part of the art of dribbling the way he did his balance despite being clattered every time he had the ball.
It was rumoured in the 1990 WC that he wore 2 sets of shin pads to protect the front and backs of his legs.

Yeah, as has been said, he was one-footed, and half those passes were against teams like Chile and stuff.

I bet his goals to games ratio was inadequate too.

                          Don't rate him.

what more do you want from him to be considered a god. he even has a church dedicated to him in real life where he's worshiped as the second coming of christ...

he was god amongst mere mortals on the pitch...

He won 2 Serie A practically single-handed as well. Unbelievable talent. I doubt there'll ever be another individual who can almost literally carry a whole team to glory.
