View Full Version : CL- AC Milan V Man Utd Build Up 24/4/07 Semiiiiiiiiiii Final Time

This will be a good match tomorrow i love it when this time comes around in the Champs League. I'm divided in my thinking whether Man Utd will get a stuffing or that there will be this heroic performance from their injury struck team. Please god dont let that happen. :shake:
You could just see it though them getting a 1:0 win or close to that.
Id like a 2:0/2:1 scoreline Milan need an away goal or two to have that bit of comfort in the San Siro, because Utd will go hell out of the blocks in the San Siro.
i don't know what to think, on one hand i think it will be extreamly close on the other i think the mancs will stuff them. i can't make up my mind

The scum's defence is in bits, AC Milan will probably score two at OT.

we can hope. man u at home wont be easy for milan especially with their ageing defence which lacks speed.
lets hope they play like they did against boro.

All injured.
Oh...exciting!
2-2 I would guess, both defences will leak goals.
All we can hope for is that the tie is still alive after the first game, because if we progress into the final next tuesday then Milan will really be fired up at the thought of revenge.

It's a shame Milan are so notoriously defensive, because there could be goals for them here. But i bet they dont go for it. I'd be surprised if Milan score more than once (if that).
It's 3/1 for a Milan win, which SHOULD represent excellent value, but the problem is, with their mentality, their ambitions tonight probably go as far as getting a draw...and no more.

Man City snub United switch plea
Pearce and Ferguson will go head-to-head on 5 May
Manchester City have refused to move back their derby fixture against Manchester United on 5 May by 24 hours.
United asked for the match at Eastlands to be moved to give them more time to recover from the 2 May Champions League semi-final, second leg in Milan.
The Reds will only have 48 hours to prepare for the derby and felt it was reasonable to ask for the switch.
However, City rejected the request and insist the game must go ahead as planned, with a 1245 (BST) kick-off.
606: DEBATE
Nice one City - why should we aid United's title chances?
MM
Extra spice had been added to the Manchester derby when it appeared United would clinch the Premiership title with victory at Eastlands.
However, that scenario is now an outside prospect as United would have to beat Everton at Goodison this weekend, while Chelsea would need to lose their home game against Bolton.
That would leave Sir Alex Ferguson's side holding a six-point advantage, knowing a win over Stuart Pearce's City would effectively seal the championship.
United won this season's reverse fixture in December at Old Trafford 3-1, with goals from Wayne Rooney, Louis Saha and Cristiano Ronaldo.
2-2 tonight ireckon, its time for Kaka to stand up and be counted, then go missing in the final against us!!
I have just had a dream that has left me so excited at the thought.
United are 3 - 0 down at half time at the theatre of shite tonight. The manc loving commentators invoke the istanbul mantra "teams can come back from 3 - 0 down, we saw Liverpool do it at Istanbul." As their little manc loving arses stop twitching at the thought of the scum doing a "Liverpool;" Milan go on to score 3 more in the second half.
The rest of the dream was about me getting a BJ off Patsy Kensit, not as good as the first part of the dream, so I won't bore you with it.
Forza Milan

Not really, because a major point with an away game, is that you're going to the opposition's home ground and the onus is on the home side.
Neither of those applied in istanbul.

Kaka is the best player in the world. Ronaldo may be a better dribbler but Kaka kills him on everything else. Pure genius :handshake:

That second goal had everything. The first was just brilliant.
Evra taking out Heinze as he went to cripple Kaka was enough on its own to make it a classic:haha: :haha: :haha: .

The only way United can get through, IMO, is if they turn it round tonight to win 3-2 (or more, obv) and get a draw in the San Siro.
That scenario is still perfectly feasible so, call me greedy, we really need Milan to get another. :D
Although I'd have taken this fucker at half time!
Scholes needs to avoid a booking and Evra needs to avoid being sent off. Any other mancs 1 card away from a suspension?

Let's not get carried away.
We should know more than anyone how quickly football can turn.
Milan are suspect at the back.
Kaka is a fucking genius though. That first finish....wow! The turn of pace, the composure. Just beautiful.

Kaka is just superb. His finishes just class. Gerrard could learn a lesson in composed finishing from him.
Purple Nose: "Our performance and our passing has been excellent" :haha:
The match (or the tie) is far from finished. Milan is still and ageing team and now Maldini is out.
