Arsenal, Chelsea make contact for Fiorentina's Toni
    tribalfooball.com - April 25, 2007

Arsenal and Chelsea have registered their interest for Fiorentina centre-forward Luca Toni.

Il Firenze says while neither Premiership giant has made contact with Fiorentina, both clubs have spoken with representatives of Toni to make him aware of their interest.

Inter Milan were regarded as favourites for the Italy international with a £12 million bid and a contract worth £1.5 million-a-year. But Arsenal and Chelsea's sudden approach this week has changed everything for Toni, who is understood to be delighted with the interest of both major English clubs.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Isnt he getting ona bit now, about 30 odd.
1.5 mill a year isnt too bad in wages, but 12mill sounds a bit too high.

i would have thought he would have moved to some of the bigger teams after the world cup. he's got 15 goals in serie a this season so he's not done to bad. milan could have done with a potent striker last night they rely very heavily on kaka in the final third!!
