Used to be a bit partial to the Dodgers, but you can only closely follow so many things.

Baseball fell to the wayside.

So if it is baseball, then I'll go for San Diego cos the only game I've been to was at the Jack Murphy and they beat LA for the first time in years

Never really watched it. Seems quite a slow game

In terms of North American sports I prefer NHL. Back in the day I used to follow the Sabres, no idea why

Yeah, although I think NASN show some games at relatively convenient times.

Thats the great thing about Sky's NFL coverage... its on form 6-12 on a Sunday. No mad late nighters except for Super Bowl Sunday.

I live in the States and have done for many years now, and I went through a period of watching baseball before I had access to English football again after a long time in the great football black hole that was the United States for many many years before Fox Soccer Channel and the like came into existence. I enjoy watching the odd game now and again. I personally like the pace. It's a nice game for sitting in the sun and having a few beers. The problem I have with baseball, is that there are far too many games, so you can't dedicate yourself to it in the same way you can football. And now that I have practically unfettered access to footy, which gets more accessible year by year, I've lost most interest.

The only teams I followed were the Red Sox, because I lived in New England for years, and had family based there until recently, and I also followed the Giants, again because of living in San Francisco and the regional nature of sports coverage here. I live in Portland now, and we don't have a major league team here. I'll be damned if I'm going to casually start watching the Mariners.

Worked there for awhile, so kinda support Seattle teams, i.e. Seahawks in NFL :D

White Sox fan.

And with the time difference between US and Adelaide i can follow all the US evening games here at about 9.30am in the morning. That lets me follow them om mlb.com or watch plenty on ESPN over here.

I revelled in the postseason last year when I watched nearly every game of the White Sox 11-1 march to the World Series!

Hate the evil Yankees. Soft spot for the Red Sox as they also suffered in the wilderness for 80+ years.

I'm a Mets fan.

I went to Shea when I was in NY a few years ago and loved it. Piazza hit a walk-off homer.

The guys on C5 have given me a shout-out a couple of times, which made me grin like a child; one time it was my birthday, the other I was talking the piss out of Johnny Gould's shirt. It's cool show. I'm surprised Sky haven't pinched the rights to MLB by now, given it's popularity.

You can view ALL MLB games via MLB.COM.

There is a subscription fee. It's about 40 quid for the entire season. Well worth the subscription fee if you are a night owl.

haven't seen much this year because i can't stay up late anymore (not a student anymore) but when Beltran was at the astros, he was amazing.

i thought he was getting boo'd last year at the metz?

has he improved this season to his astros form?

My family sold the land that John Maine grew up. I watched some games with his brother this year.
