Fecking loving this...
This morning, Real and Barca were both sat on 66 points, Madrid top by virtue of the results between the two sides (goal difference isnt the deciding factor in Spain)...
Real played away at 7th placed Recreativo and went 2-0 up inside 54 mins. The home side then scored on 75 and 86 mins....only for Roberto Carlos to snatch a 90th minute winner for Madrid, to take them 3 points clear.
And now, in their game, Barcelona are 4-0 up away at Atletico Madrid!
So they're now both going to be on 69 points, with 3 games to play...epic stuff.
Tonight's table will be as follows:
69 pts - Real Madrid
69 pts - Barcelona
67 pts - Sevilla
65 pts - Valencia
3 games left to play. Fecking exciting stuff.

Blimey.
Hope Real don't win it, other than that I'd be happy with any other winner.

Torres needs to get out of that team.... quite a few good players there, but no team at all. Manager is also crap.

I hope Barca finish the season in this form. Real to win nothing. Again!

If Real win their last 3 games, it doesnt matter what Barca do.

Real have to go to Zaragoza (who are no mugs at home) and end up at home to Mallorca (who are abogey team for them.
Barca play two home against also rans and then end up away to the bottom club.
Forza Barca!

Good point but they still sacked Del Bosque after winning the CL :haha: .
Is Beckham still playing for Real?
Barca were fantastic tonight but equally Atletico were fucking dire.
Real have seemingly had a shit season - they're booting the manager out FFS - yet somehow the title is in their hands. La Liga is cracking entertainment but the standard of defending in that league is abysmal.

Four different sides have won La Liga in the past six years!!!
Not the 'best', but certainly the most competitive league in Europe.

Word from spain is that Atletico deliberately lose (or rather, didn't bother to put up a fight) to Barca to keep them at the top two. They did not want to see Real wins the league.
Haha, surely not!
That thought did run flippantly through my mind during the game, but there's no way they threw that game in any way. Surely?!
Torres tried his heart out and looked genuinely disturbed by the drubbing.

If they'd deliberately thrown it, they would've just lost by one or two.
You dont deliberately go through that kind of humiliation in front of your own fans*

What do you think he should do, walk around smiling?. That would be to obvius.
I guess most Atletico fans went home happy after the game. It was more important to them that Barca won the game than that Atletico got a point.
Even that they lost 6-0 you could not hear much booooooos, I wonder why?

theres no way that happened, surely, remember when we beat blackburn to, supposedly, hand the league to the manc scum? thank fuck for west ham that day! But my point is that i dont think you can play to lose as a pro footballer, it would be a huge scandal if proved and just isnt an option. It was just a fluke result. Make it easier to get torres if thats what Rafa wants though eh?

Real was so out of it mid season but what a turn around. Valencia and Seville could still do win it as well!!

That would be my choice to win La Liga, but they need Real and Barca to drop pts :(

I'd like to see either Barca or Valenthia win it. Would be sound if DB end his career in Madrid without any trophys, maybe he'll win something in America :crackoff:
Cracking end to the season, makes the Premiership look like the Dutch league.

On a players perspective beckham deserves a medal. Since signing for madrid he hasnt won anything with them and a medal wining the league would be great for him.
I htink even if madrid win the league they will fire capello
