My favourite knockdown of all time was Julian 'The Hawk' Jackson's demolition of Herol 'Bomber' Graham.
Jackson was cut after 3 rounds and the ref said he had one more round to turn it around. Graham triple jabbed Jackson once - and then tried it again a few moments later - but Jackson was waiting for it. POW ! He hit Graham with such ferocity that he was out cold before he hit the floor!!!

NB I hope my memory hasn't failed me there. No doubt Kurtangle will put me right if I have !! :D

One in a long line of superhuman feats that saw Herol snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. If he'd just had slightly heavier hands he would have been a great. There's a thin line between wearing gold and playing pattercake whilst catching punches with your face.

I was back in England on vacation at the time of the Graham fight and me best mate asked if Jackson was any good. I told him Graham would probably outbox him, but Jackson would only need to land one good right and it would be all over.
My mate put bets on Jackson with just about everyone in the pub and cleaned up!!:D

Jackson still lives here on St Thomas and is one of our few sporting legends!
