yes, totally forgot about this one, I fully expect Chuck to win this one, though I will say, I have been getting used to big upsets in the UFC, if any sport was designed for an upset its MMA.
          Nice one Scot

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Rampage did him before in a minute or two and will do him again. Chuck cannot take a decent punch.

                Well, I'm shocked. Completely shocked.

I thought Liddell would avenge his loss but I think the writing was on the wall the minute their first exchange went Jackson's way. Chuck threw a left and Jackson hit him with a left and right combo. From that exchange on I thought that Chuck looked shaky but I never expected him to make the same mistake withn 30 seconds of that.

Perhaps we'll see a rematch but I really don't see the need for it because that's twice Jackson has KO'ed Chuck.

All in all it was a bit of an anticlimax.

Chuck cannot take a hit, end of. He'll never beat Jackson so he may as well retire now.

I'd like to see Mauricio Rau fight Jackson next, he kicked Jacksons ass the last time, but then he used the knee effectively (which I'm not sure that you can do on the UFC). He took a couple off Jackson too that night, ones that would've put Chuck to sleep early.

Tony is right, Checuk could not take a punch tonight, although that punch would have put any light heavy weight MMA fighter on their back. For such a good striker, Chuck keeps a very open stance with his hands out wide looking for the counters.
I am delighted that Pride and the UFC have been combined, should see some awesome scraps now, Henderson and Jackson looks like it will be a good scrap.
I think Chuck can come back, despite his loss tonight, he could easiy put Jackson out himself, was impressed with Jacksons defense though.

I'm not convinced Chuck would ever put Jackson down. In both fights he's just been knocked out within a minute or two and personally, I thought I could see fear in Chucks eye's as soon as one punch landed.

I don't think that punch would've floored all fighters, Mauricio took a few big shots off Jackson and one huge uppercut, didn't even flinch. Maybe I'm wrong but the punch seemed to me to make contact more to the side of the face than the chin.

Anyway, it wasn't a shock to me. I've been telling some mates for the last month that Chuck would be knocked out within the first round and they laughed, but when you watch the first fight, well, that beating would scar you for life. Chuck ran off to the UFC never to return to Pride. Pride joins the UFC and what happens, Chucks destroyed again.

Jackson looked as though he was 'in the zone' last night.

A little too early to be writing Liddell off.

The Jackson vs Henderson fight should be interesting.

The first Liddell Jackson fight went deep into the second round before Jackson won. Jackson did boss the fight from start to finish. Saturdays fight was over much, much quicker than the first encounter.

They say its 90% mental in this game and Liddell will have nightmares about Jackson. Yes, it was the second round now I think about it, but Jackson just kicked his ass from start to finish.
