Its in tomorrow papers that he will walk cause he is having problems with the CEO.....etc......
Its more like he wants to call their bluff and get a better contract and more money in the transfer market.
Has done a great job with Derby to be fair.

Fair play to Billy Davis. He's done a hell of a job at Preston and now Derby. He was shite whilst manager of Motherwell mind you.

Apparently they won't pay the compensation to get the assistant manager he wants (at Preston currently I think).

Do you reckon he's calling their bluff though???
Maybe City have shown an interest???

Oh right, jeez you would think they would do all to keep him happy after the job he done with them and in the perfect year....60 million not a bad entry fee to the Prem :D
Ala Rafa, baby steps mind you.
Nobody ever gets on with the Board at Derby. They are all a bunch of c0cks
I have a little money on him going to Man City

They got a new board at the start of the season thoug which seemed to sort things out. I suspect that now they have the Premiership money in the bag they might be a bit more willing to shell out the cash.
I get the impression that Davies was trying to force the boards hand in terms of backing but maybe he is issuing a come get me plea. I know he likes a challenge but the City job will be almost as hard as the Derby one but with higher expectations.
