Are these Irish nurses.Feck them, they want a 10% payrise and a 10% reduction in working hours, this country will be crippled when all other government employees demand the same.

          Edit:

Not one player at Chelsea, one of the richest football clubs in the world, agreed to contribute any of their wages to the 'May Day For Nurses' campaign, where footballers are asked to give a day's wages to hard-up Nurses.

Of all the 556 Premiership players asked to help with the scheme, only 225 contributed.

Depends on who else they give their money to. Let's face it, there are thousands of charities out there and footballers could give a little to each and haver nothing at the end of it.

I thinks it's a bit poor that Chelsea gave nothing. They could have at least given a club gesture?

Why are they giving them a days wages?

edit: Just read about it on the site....don't really agree with it but fair play if they want to do it.

There's a shortage of employable computer graduates, when are they getting their day.

I signed, but i think the campaign shouldn't involve football.

Signed it. Doesnt it say Chelsea as a club did give a donation?
