Meeting starts in York today, and these are the ones I've done today:

Dylan Thomas should be today's banker - the other races aren't so obvious and are quite open races, and as has been said your best bet is to have an accumulator on tonight/tomorrow night's football.
The Carling Cup is on this week with some pretty obvious bets out there, but be very wary of the odd upset like last night at Accrington Stanley (who fecked up one of my bets straight away!).

Ddin't see it but Dylan Thomas was meant to be the dead cert of the meeting - I did have a funny feeling that Maraahel would take him close, that's why I had an e/w on it, but Maraahel came second anyway!

Had a good day yesterday.
A couple of 4 and 5/1 winners and got 13/2 for 1-1 last night. Ok it was spolied by letting red hot play on the 'spinney game' (roulette) which cost me but Im in again for today.

The 2.50 is tough. Its hard to see past Grenwich Meantime but for e/w there is Geordieland at 8/1 and Red Lancer at 20/1

It's a tough one to call at York today in my opinion, so I haven't gone overboard with my selections (not very confident about them as it's so wide open in many races):
Alexandrova should be the dead cert for today but with the weather you never know, and Dylan Thomas' effort yesterday to go by also, so I'm staying away there as the odds are horrible anyway!
All e/ws for me today:
2.50 Signatory, Elusive Dream (Greenwich Meantime is a favourite of mine but I'm just not sure today with the ground)
3.25 Short Skirt (Alexandrova should win but I won't be going there so e/w bets are the way here - toss up between pick and Shamdala)
4.00 Smart Instinct (this one could be the one)
5.10 Guto (very open race but went for the odds)

Looking at that horse's record it hasn't done too bad either - why didn't I see that one earlier!!! :rolleyes:
Alexandrova won the 3.25, with my e/w bet Short Skirt coming a close second. Only had £1 e/w on that one, so I managed to make 13 pence profit there! Big money at stake for me today!! :D
Not at all confident about today's racing - and I need to get some money back for the accas I lost out on (thanks to Ajax and CHelsea last night).

...at last I have a winner in the 4.00! Good return so only a fiver down now on today's outgoings. A win in the last will put me in profit.
