View Full Version : Carlos Tevez
Has apparently quit Corinthians, refusing to train or play under their current coach.
I would not want to get on his wrong side....a real bull dog.
Hope he doesn't make a switch to England....just yet!

i think he was the one badly damaged in a car crash as a child.
nah that was Ribery mate. He went flying through the windshield, its left him with a scar running down the side of his face.
Tevez is a bit like twoface from the Batman comics, one side looks perfectly normal...the other looks very odd...almost like scartissue.:eyebrow:
Tevez was savaged by wild dogs in the back-streets of Buenos Aries as a child...at least that's what I used to like to imagine.
Actually, he was scolded (scalded?) as a child by boiling water, I think.
Carlitos has a scar from the right ear to his chest, product of a burn with boiling water when he was a young boy. Carlos declined plastic surgery since he would have to be out of the playground for four months.
if he goes to the fucking mancs, it will be the darkest day in football since Roman Baught chelski, i seriously i thinking of toping myself if that happenes, he's been my favoret player in the world for a few years now and to see him role over to the dark side, i don't know what to do...

Has apparently quit Corinthians, refusing to train or play under their current coach.
Speculation is growing that Corinthians' crown jewels Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez may both move to The Premiership before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
The Brazilian side sent a delegation of officials to London on Tuesday to meet with investment group MSI in a bid to negotiate the exit of star striker Tevez after he signalled his desire to leave the club following a falling out with the fans.
However it now appears as though Mascherano's future is also up for debate with Corinthians possibly ready to cash in on the Argentine World Cup star after he missed training on Tuesday.
Club president Alberto Dualib has admitted that talks with MSI are likely to clarify the situation of the two stars on Wednesday, with the Argentine media suggesting that the duo are expected to make their way to England.
"This Wednesday is the key day and the negotiations are very advanced," said Dualib.
Former Boca Juniors sensation Tevez has been linked with a number of clubs across the continent ever since it became clear he was desperate to leave Brazil, with Roma, Manchester United, Chelsea, Milan, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid all believed to hold an interest.
The latest club to reportedly join the race is Aston Villa, with Randy Lerner's millions dramatically increasing their pulling power in the transfer market.
However reports in Tevez's home country suggest that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could be leading the chase for the powerful forward.
Meanwhile defensive midfielder Mascherano appears to be the subject of a tussle between Manchester United and Chelsea, with Sir Alex Ferguson turning his attention to new targets after seemingly missing out on Owen Hargreaves.
Tevez and Mascherano's agent Adrian Ruocco is attending the crunch meetings in London and the situation of the two Argentine internationals should be much clearer in the next 48 hours.
Whilst Tevez had been expected to leave after staying away from the club for the past week, Mascherano has now also gone AWOL with arguments continuing over his availablilty for the glamour friendly against Brazil at The Emirates Stadium on September 3.
Corinthians are not keen for the midfielder to travel for the tie, even though he is suspended domestically, and relations between the parties have reached a new low after coach Emerson Leao confirmed Mascherano had skipped training.
"I began the practice at 8.30 am and there was no sign of Mascherano," coach Leao confirmed to reporters.
"I haven't received any official message from him and the case has been passed to the directors."
holly fucking shit, i can't sleep over the tought that tevez is gong to a premiership club other than us, arsenal, utd, chelski, i would rather jump of the brookly bridge than to see that happen...
we could however use Mascherano, the monster, with sissoko injured hamman gone we clearly need a holding midfielder to cover, Mascherano would be great in the premierleague, but again, i won't have him going to the fucking mancs...

Hammers to land Tevez & Mascherano
By Graeme Bailey - Created on 31 Aug 2006
West Ham United are set to pull off a major coup by the signing Argentine stars Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano, skysports.com can reveal.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United were all thought to be competing for the duo, along with some of the continents elite including Bayern Munich and Milan.
However, The Hammers have struck a deal with Media Sports Investments (MSI) - who own the rights to the Corinthians pair.
Portsmouth were also in line to broker a move, but it seems MSI have decided that a move to West Ham will best serve their prize assets.
The deal is believed to be initially for a season-long loan for the duo - but it could become permanent if all parties are happy.
The pair are both currently in England ahead of this weekend's Brazil versus Argentina clash at Arsenal's brand new Emirates Stadium.
A statement on Tevez's website claims a move is done for himself and Mascherano.
"Carlitos Tevez along with his former Corinthians team-mate, Javier Mascherano, has signed a contract to play with West Ham United of England," read the statement.
WHAT a coup for The Hammers!!! Thank god we've got one of our games against them out of the way!!
Hammers to net Tevez & Mascherano
Argentina striker Carlos Tevez says he and team-mate Javier Mascherano have agreed to sign for West Ham.
The World Cup duo, who both play for Corinthians in Brazil, are set to move to Upton Park on a year-long loan.
Tevez, 22, claims on his website he and Mascherano, 22, have signed contracts with West Ham despite being linked with moves to Manchester United and Arsenal.
The Hammers are thought to have struck a deal with Media Sports Investments, who own the rights to the two players.

Surely this is bollocks.
West Ham would be looking at £30 million for those two, and there's no way they have that amount of cash. Maybe it's a loan deal though, but even still those two players could pretty much have their pick of European teams if they were on loan.

Maybe the fact that MSI are looking to take over West Ham has something to do with this - ie just transferring assets.

Well done the Hammers. If it's true. Now what's my login for fantasy.premierleague.com............

Just popped over to redcafe to see the reaction, and it's absolutely hilarious. They are up in arms about this: 'Fergie misses another transfer target'. Fantastic.
As usual, you can rely on them to come up with their usual magnanimous, humane responses:
'I hope the cnuts break their legs'.
Classy.
am a bit stunned by this, I've just had a look at tevez's website and although I can't speak Spanish, it's pretty clear from the site that he's confrimed he and Mascherano have agreed to join West Ham.
I wonder, does this mean Harewood and or Reo Coker are off today?
great deals for the hammers if true.....seems like it a season loan with the option to buy...which by then MSI will probabaly own West Ham.

mancs...gods comedic gift to mankind
Its a loan deal for one season. I'm glad they aren't signing for the Chavs or Mancscum.
I quite like West Ham so fair play to them. They've got a good wee squad there now.
Actually if this is true and they are on loan for a season before moving to so called "bigger" clubs it could show that the Premiership is becoming more like Serie A. Its common practise there for players from South America to arrive over and start their careers at smaller club and then move to the big boys if they prove to be a hit eg Crespo started at Parma and then went to Lazio and Inter.
Jesus! :eyebrow:
ye you said it man...
holly fucking fuck, what the fuck is happening to the world...
does this mean that we could have gottem if we wanted, a season long loan, surely it can't be that simple...
i mean WEST HAM for fucks sake, how in the world could this have happened, they are a club that sell stars not buy them, theres something fishy about this...
if theres nothing dodgy behind this deal, if the msi are not looking to buy the club, this could probavly be the best buy of the season, and the best buy for a club in a long time, this could actually be like when maradona whent to Napoli for a record fee. but some how i doubt that tevez will be as loyal to the hammers as Diego was to Napoli...
but i'm sreiously desturbed by thie piece of news...
but i know what my nr. 2 team is now...

HAts off to Westham for securing this deal.
Rumours are circulating that they are being taken over by another rich Russian too.
another roumor is that a west ham board member is connectd to msi
another point is just simply, this could be good for buisness by msi, they could allow them to flourish at west ham, jus t simply to jack their price up a little more, by the end of the season they could be woth 10 millin more than when they arrived...
