the fantastic four: rise of the reds

i am of an age that i remember us being the kings of the north, the best team, the best trophies, the best players.....god what it meant to be a liverpool fan( it still does in our hearts) but hate to say it u cant help cast an envious glance over at those ****s at old trafford. dont get me wrong i would rather have my left bollock run over by a steamroller than be a manc.

they have the money, ok it may be debt but that doesnt affect the everyday deadhead manc, they have the biggest stadium and can attract the big names for the big money they have been getting right off the pitch as well as on on for twenty years ok they are a bunch of filthy manc deadbeats, but they are succesful and that hurts like having to watch gary neville

but imagine in 3 years......i mean really imagine, its going to be ****in boss!!

A new ground filled with 78,000 screaming reds fans celebrating bringing home the PL trophy again.

the best ground and once again becoming the worldwide force we once where, our hispanic, far east and worldwide communities growing bigger by the day, once again we could be the envy of the footballing world, not just for our history but for our future as well.

Look at our youngsters we are purchasing we have bought so many from the age of 16 upwards that we are really securing the future of LFC for many years to come and with a central axis of pepe, carra, agger, alonso, stevie and torres, success cannot be guaranteed but for the first time in 20years we are heading in the right direction

i really feel the tide is turning and we are about to regain the mantle of the biggest and best football club in the world.

its early days but moores looks like he has made the right decision with these guys, in gillett, hicks, parry and benitez we trust. The fantastic four: Rise of the reds.....

    .come on

      Great post

To be honest, I can't see it happening. Utd are way, way ahead of us in terms of football, fan base, attractiveness, global brand etc They are the biggest club on the planet and they will become the most successful domestic English team. It hurts. But I say **** ‘em. **** ‘em all
      Another MASSIVE game

Football: we are not way behind them. We have done better then them in europe and won them a few times.

Fan base: any numbers to back that up?

Attractiveness: We have more trophies, better atmosphere, it is really IMO an opinion.

Global brand: depends on fanbase and with a better history we have arguably a better global brand.

So lets not give up now that we have, or at least will have as much money and a better stadium. I´m sure we will in a few years catch up and hopefully before they get nr. 18

I doubt that our new stadium will have a 78k capacity from day one. Maybe sometime 2015-2020 it will be a 78k stadium.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

do you not think we will apply for planning permission as its being built?
i am sure it will be bigger than the 61 when it opens.

It's true SCUM are the dominant force domestically at the moment. BUT how did they take over from LFC in this role. Well it was down to a bit of genius by Fergusson (much as I hate to admit it). Back in the late 80's it was obvious that LFC would soon lose Hansen, Lawrenson, Gillespie and Nicol to retirement. It's very tough to replace defenders of that quality, if not impossible.
So LFC was inevitably going to go through a transitional period. Fergie saw it coming and decided to take advantage of it. He was a bit fortunate that SKY TV money cme along at the same time and that Kenny resigned.

SCUM are ripe for a transitional period as Fergusson will HAVE to go soon. He can't go on as effectively for much longer. LFC have finally grasped the nettle and the start of the new stadium project plus the new youth recruitment and good young players like Torres and Babel will hopefully see us take advntage the way Fergie did to us.

It won't have 78,000 scousers in it that's for sure

I have to say mate I wish you would look at the facts. You look up to Manure to the detriment of Liverpool.
Liverpool have 28 million registered supporters in the world (easily on a par with scum). Our website is the most frequently visited football site in the world. We are Englands most successful club with an inept marketing policy/strategy which is set to be given a huge impetus for the better. I have been following Liverpool since 1969 can tell you that LFC is back on the rise for long term competitiveness and dominance but not sole dominance as the scum and chavs will be there spending top dollar.
