He's easily worth a contract if you're a semi-decent Premiership club, he'd walk into a Fulham or Villa side.

Agreed, he`s not a bad DM. Remember when he was used as RM, what a joke that was.

I felt so sorry for him when he was stuck out on the right. All six foot four of him...trying to be a winger.

                ****ing Houllier.

Wasn't he playing RM when he got sent off against Rotherham? Either RM or right-back, definitely.

That's how I'll always remember him.

Go watch the road to Istanbul DVD, then you'll see Igor at his very best.

He was quality when stuck in the centre of defence

His lost puppy look always made me laugh.

He was however instrumental in the Deportivo win on the way to the CL.

Being a TeamTalk Alumnus i remember a time when the 'YourSay' pages had a Picture of Igor and his 6 pack up (it was after he scored and he showed off his chest). Man that was a lucky charm, i don't think we lost when that picture went up.

Reminds me of walking down the street in Ibiza, out of the corner of my eye caught the Sky Sports info bar on a café tv:

Houllier- ‘Liverpool have unearthed the new Beckenbauer for defence for this season’

Eagerly awaiting the story to be covered, finally Gerry appears, who is this new star defender I wonder, hmmmm….

…cue a training shot of Igor, and of course that bewildered look on his face.

Haha, I remember that. On the Kop that day. Lost 1-0, FFS. Heskey was left out (after scoring 11 in 11), Ipswich rejoiced (they only had to face Fowler & Owen) and beat us.

When I was in a taxi in Athens I noticed the driver had a Panathinakios pennant hanging from his rear view. 'Panathinaikos?' I said, pointing at it. 'Yes,' he said. 'Igor Biscan. Good player?' I said. 'Errrrr, he, errrr, runs around a lot,' he said.
