So, anyone sad enough to be at home watching the game? :sigh:

Thought he looked very impressive, looked lively as always, and basically marked Ronaldinho out of the game. You could see how pissed off he was making him, everytime he got the ball he was right up his arse (pun intended, kinda). Would he adapt to the Prem though? He's definitely an attacking threat, i don't see why he feels the need to twat every single pass he plays though

Anyway, liked the look of him again, only 2 concerns though

1. He is a play acting little shit. Got a knock in the 'face' and went down - it was nowhere near his face

2. The guy is a midget. Do we need another midget?

Thoughts?

UEFA Player of the Year last night!

Can't be /that/ bad!

But, I wished we had him as a full back winger overlapping, though I can see why Rafa & the board wouldn't go over a certain amount, he isn't top drawer is he?

Man of the match tonight!!!
He's a Rafa type of player. Extremely agressive and hard working.
I like him!

I think he is though mate, he really is top drawer imo. His long and short passing accuracy is pinpoint 9/10 times. He absoloutely tore Boro apart in that UEFA cup final with his driving runs into space. He times his runs so well its hard to defend against with his little 1-2s and passing accuracy..just need him to stop play acting though :shake:

I thought he had a very good game, and to keep Ronaldinho quiet is quite impressive aswell....

I love Steve Finan mate but Alves puts him in the shade bug time.
I've been following the lad for ages on la liga and he's quality.

The lad can defend and play!
Pass like a mother fucker and great shot, agreesive etc...

Hope we get him at some stage!!

For £12M, I'd like to think he looked the part.

Maybe now he'll get in the Brazil squad ahead of CibloodyCinho.
