I used to think it'd never work, but...

one of my friends is involved in this venture. It's generating a huge amount of interest from big companies (sponsorship etc) as well as influential individuals (chief exec of Fulham has offered to help out with the football regulatory aspects of club business).

I don't know all the details and they'll need to work out the precise model (I personally think it will come down to clear suggestions to the manager rather than mandates) but at the moment it looks like they're doing well...and people seem to love the idea of owning a part of their club and really being involved.

Again not sure of the exact details, but think it works on a subscription (to the website, some of which is paid to the club coffers) basis too, so there would be a constant supply of money, which although it's not huge could be very significant for a lower league club.

I'm interested in peoples reactions/suggestions...can pass them on if you'd like.

Not sure how it would work if the players bought shares.. though..."Hey boss, I reckon you should play....me!"
