Does it annoy you that none of the players thank the ball boys when they return the ball? It does me, seems common courtesy should apply.

Not really. The players job is to get on with it quickly as possible. His focus shouldnt be on thanking a ball boy during the game. They get their pre-match and aftermatch food and im sure the players talk 2 them after the game at some point

Pitch is very close to stands so no need. Plus stands are always full so fans are there to chuck the ball back

So we have 45k of them :rock: and they even pay to be it.

That's crap as the fans can't jump over the fence to get the ball back so it's often some fat steward or a photographer who has to get it. More often or not it's Reina or the opposing keeper who has to run after it. It slows down our play and must lose us around a minute every home game. Over a season that's nearly 20 minutes of lost action we've paid for and - more crucially - possibly cost us a goal or two...

Ballboys at wembley were ver poor on saturday. I hope they were flogged after the game

Ha! Back in the days in Jugosalvija, football matches were played with only one ball ... Imagine Momo Sissoko sending the ball to the car park. The match would be postponed for a few minutes :haha:
