Anyone else reckon it is starting to look a bit vunerable if they pick up one or two injuries.

Terry
Carvalho
Boulahrouz - not even sure who this fella is

they've sold gallas/Huth who in the past could be used in the centre back position.

Ferreira proved how shite he really is in the charity sheild

bridge/cole at left back, fair enough, fairly handy.

Good point - they aren't too well covered at right back (Geremi?) or centre half. But bloody Terry never ever seems to get injured.....the git.

Mind you who is our right back cover!!

An injury to either the curly haired cheat or Terry would really leave them exposed. I do think they have had a very poor transfer window, their squad last season was far superior in terms of depth and their ability to change formations. I can't really see a plan b for Mourinho now. They might have added a superior striker (who might be enough to win them the league and CL) but they've lost an awful lot.

I can't wait for Kuyt to rampage into their centrehalves!

I happen to think that WITHOUT injuries that defence is vulnerable. Dont underestimate just how important william gallas was to them

Gallas WAS important to them. Terry always looks good with Makalele in front of him. Doesn't look as clever for England.

Teams have got to have a go at Chelsea and put pressure on them - but you have to make sure you get backand defend quick if you lose the ball.

I reckon Chelsea are there for the taking - if you're brave enough to have a go and disciplined.

agreed:handshake: thats why I thought the charity shield win was so important, in the fact that we showed people, have no fear, go at them and theyre nothing special. Boro done the same and they twatted them too:D

as we saw in the Charity Shield and up at Boro. They are only human and have their weaknesses.

More poor mother (a Liverpool fan and the reason I am a Liverpool since 3yo) has to spend the wekend away with her sister-in-law (my aunt) who is a Chelsea season ticket holder and travels across Europe (in vain!) with them.

I told Mum just to hold up five fingers and say nothing!

Be nice if, at the end of the season, she can just say "19".

Boulahrouz has looked excellent when I have seen him play for Holland. I don't think they have anything to worry about to be honest. Huth has hardly played for them and Gallas played mostly at LB, Ashley Cole is a top addition so I think they are probably stronger than they were at the back in terms of depth now.

we should get our players to kick John Terrys ankles at every opportunity. that would make me happy.

why do you think Rafa kept Diao :crackoff:

They were very very exposed in the Charity Shield and against Boro. Yakubu could have had 4 goals if he could head a ball. :shake:

Hopefully teams will be bold and attack them without orrying about the threat of Chavchenko.

Chelsea is becoming Real Madrid... Buying midfielders and strikers, but don't buy defenders... Well, they bought A.Cole, but he won't play 38+ games a season... So where are the replacements? They don't have them.

It just shows how much Benitez is better than Maureen. He thinks tactically, he is buying players for every position and he uses the rotation system, which cannot be seen on Maureen's books. Maureen is just a wanker, who thinks he'll buy success. Not in football and definitely not if Liverpool's in the same divison :D

I think this is the worst Chelsea team since Abramovič took over...

I don see many signs of their defense being weaker. Gallas and Huth out, Cole and boula...... in. I\D call that pretty even.
But that doesn mean theyre unbeatable

You didn't mention Cech.

They were a farce without him at the start of the season, and at lesser games last season. Terry - leader, my arse!

Gallas is a GREAT player and would be a loss to any team. But cole is also a GREAT player :o RB is a weakness for me.
