Anyone see the Dida incident?
Just after Celtic got the 2nd goal, a fan ran onto the pitch and while he was running passed Dida put his hand out and lightly brushed Dida on the chest/neck. Dida ran after him then fell to the ground holding his face. He was carried off on the stretcher with an ice pack on face and was substituted.
He should be banned for a very very long time.
Fair enough, the fan shouldn't have ran onto the pitch, but Dida acted liked a complete gobshite.

Celtic might be docked points according to 5Live

Tis possible alright.
The fan was a numpty for running onto the pitch. Bet his mates will love him if they get docked points.

Celtic are going hit big time. Dida should be banned for faking injury like the keeper who claimed the firecracker hit him.

Both the Fan and the Keeper should be banned for life!!!!!

Just seen it now on skysports, absolutely appaling by Dida, that fan must have the most powerful love tap i've ever seen, taken off the field of play on a stretcher with an ice pack on his face for a little slap on the cheek.

Worse than the Rivaldo incident a few years ago in the World Cup. Must be a Brazillian thing

Denmark ended up losing the game 3-0 against Sweden after a supporter had ran onto the pitch and hit the ref.

More or less the same thing now, just replace the ref with Dida.

Difference there is the guy ran on the pitch and went for the Ref, this fan was just jokingly giving Dida a little tap.

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from Dida and i hope he feels duly embarrased about it all

It's 100% their responsibility to control the supporters, no one else.

Dida play acted but that isn't the point. The point is that the supporter could enter the pitch and slap him in the first place.

Plus UEFA has always been in bed with the Italian FA and couldn't give 2 fucks about Scotland.

If it had been the other way round, Milan would have got the decision.

You can only have so many stewards though and they all ran over to the corner where the players had gone to celebrate the goal. They can only be in one place at a time, and they can't watch every fan

Of course, but can you really see them siding with Celtic against Milan?

If there is any justice, Celtic get the points and Dida gets banned. What will happen is Milan will get the points, Dida will get a 1 match ban and Celtic will have to play their home games in Europe behind closed doors :shake:

No, it's all fair. 1 Milan player will have to go sit in the corner for them bribing the ref and UEFA and celtic will lose the game. Thats fair innit?

I can't see UEFA reversing this result because even though Celtic have to be held accountable, Milan lost the match legitimately and don't deserve to be rewarded.

The result will stand but Celtic may be docked the 3 points.

I believe if any bans are being handed out it should be to Dida. He's a disgrace.

The Celtic lad was guilty of inappropriate overexuberance - stupidity in other words but no more than that.

Dida is guilty of something far more despicable than that.

There is absolutely NO chance that Celtic will "lose" the game or get docked points. The scandalous behaviour of Dida assures that. The fan will get a life ban (harsh actually but by the book) and Celtic will get a fine.

Obviously the over-reaction by Dida was laughable, but UEFA will have to take that very seriously, what if he had been carrying a knife and gave Dida a glasgow smile on the pitch or something? Or tried to feed him a fired mars bar causing instant coronary heart failure?

Whilst I admit that it's not good when fans can come easily onto the pitch - Dida is a strong athlete who's been brushed round the neck in jest. For fuck sake mate, get some balls - I mean - the pic above show's him carried off on a stretcher with a fucking ice pack on him!!!!

AC Milan & Dida face Uefa inquiry
Uefa has opened disciplinary proceedings against AC Milan and their Brazilian goalkeeper Dida after the Champions League game at Celtic.
Dida collapsed dramatically after being hit in the face by a fan near the end of Wednesday's 2-1 defeat at Celtic.

The 34-year-old was stretchered off but has been criticised for overreacting.

Uefa has already opened proceedings against Scottish champions Celtic and both cases will be heard by the control and disciplinary body on Thursday.

What's the strory with a "lifetime ban" for a fan? How thorough are they? Surely he could just wear a cap and buy a ticket or something?
