Looking forward to this....Sergio Aguero in the Argies' squad too.

Javier Saviola (Barcelona)
Both teams have a lot to prove in my opinion. Brazil were dreadful in the world cup and the argies flattered to deceive.
Hope they go toe-to-toe

Technically Saviola is still a Barcelona player isn't he?

Should be a good one.....nice Sunday afternoon viewing.
I have tevez - should be spurned on by the transfer and want to lay a marker down - first scorer @ 7.5/1 and (hopefully) a covering bet of 4 or more goals @ 3.75.
Leandro Somoza very suprising to see him up there, i am looking forward to seeing him, after being linked to us even if it was a dodgy link, interested to see want kind of player he is, and if he would have made a good replacement for hamann
is it on tv?
Yup, BBC1 3.35pm. Nice huh?

Looking forward to this after the mediocore matches yesterday, including the Scotland game. We beat a pub side 6-0 and now we're back on the right track. Charlie Nicolas is a fickle c*nt. Bollocks.

I have to say I was laughing at that fickle pillock Nicholas yesterday. As you said, you beat an appalling side, every bit as bad as Andorra if not worse, yet Champagne Charlie thinks everything is rosy again. :haha:

He's a grade A c*nt.
I mean look at our centre backs: Weir and Pressley. Is there a worse centre back pairing in Europe, excluding the pub sides like the Andorra the Faores etc, etc?
We are still shite, and we will be for some time. We'll get hammered by Italy and France and possibly by Ukraine as well.
Anyway I'm glad Ronaldinho is back in the Brazil squad. Also that young left back Marcelo is supposed to be mustard.
Hopefully Ronaldinho will be deployed correctly by this new manager, instead of being far too deep to influence the game as he was in Germany. Really hoping Aguero gets a run out too. Looking forward to this big time.

Yeah I want to see Aguero play. The video clips on YouTube tell you fuck all.
Hopefully we don't see that stupid formation that we saw Brazil use in the world cup. The magic quartet bollocks. If they want to get the best out of Kaka and Ronnie they'll play them up front in a 4-3-3, flanking a centre forward, and like Barcelona, not asking them to track back.

Kaka's not a forward by any stretch of the imagination.
On the Faroes. Perhaps Charlie was comparing the two draws scotland had against the Faroes in recent memory. Still a cock though - granted!
few unknowns to me really excite me esp in the argies team, also cant cant wait for Sergio 'kun' Aguero to get a game, wish we had 17 million for him, he'll proove his worth...
and also why is Fabricio Coloccini always in the squad, imo he's very very poor...
Brazil:
Rafael Sobis (Internacional)
Dudu Cearense (CSKA Moscow)
Elano (Shakhtar Donetsk)
Argies:
Clemente Rodriguez (Spartak Moscow)
Fabricio Fuentes (Atlas)
Leandro Somoza (Villarreal)
Federico Insua (Borussia Moenchengladbach)
Daniel Bilos (St Etienne)
Interesting to see all those CSKA Moscow players in the Brazil squad. Vagner Love and Carvalho were both very impressive against us in the Super Cup, if I remember rightly.
No Ronaldinho or Kaka! Might have a little bet on the Argies now...
that leonardo fella in the bbc studio is a good pundit.
why is this Daniel Bilos playing, and why is he deployed on the left wing???
it's like playing crouch in midfield, aguero in for him would be great...
luv that little thig tevez though, won't get bullied around by that vial bastard lucio...
but argies are being played of the park by brazil, fair play to them, robinho looks class...

Argentina; loads of possession, no cutting edge. Disappointed Aguero didn't come on until late.
Brazil; Dunga's got them motivated. What a difference he's made. With Ronaldinho, Robinho and Kaka they are still the best.
yep dissapointing game really, Riquelme was not upto his best
messi was poor, didn't like his attitude at all, price of success perhaps
aguero had one good move, but what a poor finish from insua...
the entire argie denfene looked shakey the entire match...
robinho was class today, and really great attitude, top pro...
kaka, what a great goal, has more pace than i remembred, set up another one
babtista had great reseption at emrates, loved the smile on his face when he came on, he did ok, likable guy...
wagner love, well abel xavier and cisse combined does not come close to that funky blue shit for hair...
i loath lucio, i hate him with all my heart, i would actually love to punch him through a brick wall, what a twat, hard ass goes down like a bitch he really is...
to many hard tackles, both side diving around the pitch, to much whigning, dissapointing performance from the argies, but hats of to the brazillians, did really well...

I thought it was an interesting game, well contested for a friendly, God they hate each other!!
It was certainly better than the usual drival on a Sunday afternoon...Eastenders Omnibus anyone?? :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

The passion you hold for Lucio is matched by my contempt at your whole team.
Granted they were playing Brazil, but they are like this every time i see them. They make Bolton look like a team of Dick Van Dykes.
My utter raggedness is only abated by the knowledge they are the most overrated national team in the game. Like England, they are a team of great individuals who cannot play together. They need a really good manager, but to be fair to this fella he's only just took the reigns.
I'm off to find a price for Tevez getting sent off in his debut game.

ha ha get the bellows out & stoke the fire Bob!!!
:D
Best kicking them when they're down. With a bit of luck they wont get up again.
That Tevez lad reminds me of someone...

i get what you are saying, but i don't agree with you (ofcours i don't :D)
i recon brazil is a better team at the momen...
but argentina is a far better team than england, ayala, heinze, crespo are very important members of this team, it's a young team with alot of potential, but need to play to gether for a few more years to come contenders, but they have more talent in their pinky finger than england in the entire team...
but i realized at world cup, and in this game just how much i hate brazil, they truly are dirty fuckers. Ronaldo, ronaldinho, robinho, kaka, adriano (even though he can be a dirty bastard at times) are the only ones left that i like the new blokes like chichinio...etc i hate...

Who missed the sitter as I thought it was Messi or Aguero
aguero passed the ball but the supstatude nr. 21 Federico Insua (Borussia Moenchengladbach) missed the sitter...
Eh? Well a few sitters were missed but Aguero went clean through only to drag his shot horribly wide. I thought that was the one El Diego was referring to.

Absolute tonking by Brazil. They played the argies very well on the counter attack.
The KAKA goal would have ranked among the best in World Cup history if he had scored it in Germany. World Class
Argentina tried to walk it in with fancy 1-2 passes and back heels, Brazil had no problem dealing with it.
On a side note, them two nations really hate each other don't they ? Tackles flying, insults as well. Bennett had a bit of a tough task keeping order but did alright.

Kaka's goal reminded me of Owen's in the 98 WC.

I thought Brazil derserved to win but not by much, the Argies were all over them until Brazil scored there second. Also the sitter was when the player was clear in the area about 6 yards out and pulled it wide.

It was Aguero then.

I think we are talking about when he was right centre of goal and looked as if he hit it with his wrong foot and powered it wide instead of placing it into the corner.

Also I don't know if you noticed on telly that 90% were arse fans and supporting Brazil, It's just that when I started shouting Argentina, Argentina, Argentina no one joined in and they just looked at me.

Arsenal fans are likeable at times aren't they ;)

How come you hate the Argies so much? I am not taking the bait either.
:sigh: Shame.
Not the nation, or the people, just the national side.
They're a disgrace to football. They embody all i hate about football in one tidy package.
