    Newcastle how **** are they?

Just watched the first half against Birmingham.

Christ on a bike that club is in trouble. The players are ****. Even those who seemed to once have some ability are playing crap and simply do not seem to care. They are struggling to string more than two passes together.

Unless they get real lucky I think they wil get relegated

if they go down this year i see them going into freefall like leeds did and ending up league 1 status in 2 years....shame.

They dont care. That much was evident last week at Anfield. i was shocked to see some of their players in the warm-up look cold and shivering and seemingly didnt want to be there. and i include Owen in that

Would you want to care about playing if you can't score for ****. They're a team completley devoid of confidence.

It's their defence that's ****e, they're total dross! I feel sorry for the rest of the players that are in there. They have some real talent in that squad, really good players but the whole team is a mess.

Kevin Keegan's got a ****ing job on his hands there, really feel sorry for the poor *******!

james milner seems a good talent, viduka is a player i've always admired and martins is class but apart from that i think newcastle is a team filled with mediocre players.

                Don't forget Michael Owen!

Martins is quality, has bags of skill too. Milner is a fantastic player aswell, a real talent but yes I agree, overall there are far too many average players in that squad. They do need to sort their ****ty defence out, they're comical at times. It must be painstacking watching them defend.

When that goal went in before you could see the look on the fans' faces, they looked shellshocked.

I just hope that they don't go down and that KK can sort them out.

if they go down.. i would love to see, Owen, Martins, Milner and Taylor at liverpool.. therefore if we got rid of Kuyt, although he is nicely moulding into that attacking right wing position, and also got rid of Voronin.. thats two places for owen and martins

then add Taylor to the equationat CB and stick milner on the right =]

then again, i could just get off FM08

martins and milner defo...good squad players (better than pennant and voronin anyway) as for taylor - dont need him and he isnt good enough for us. owen - burnt his bridges with us as far as im concerned. would rather get a younger player who isnt injury prone. he should leave newcastle though, he better than that.

Just watched the second half and they did improve, but how ****e is Geremi at taking set pieces? Surely they've someone who is better than that. It is one thing to continually fail to beat the first man at corners, but the first man was passing it away most of the time, he didn't need to head it.

Good second half by Newcastle. Owen was the reason to why they picked themselves up in the second half. Martins was just **** and Viduka even worse.

McFadden had a good first half for Birmingham but a rubbish second.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I cannot believe that people still want Owen. When he was young he had pace and finishing. His first touch. positioning and team play was ****e. Now he has lost pace he looks very average. He was also never a player passionate about football the way that Gerrerd, Carragher and Torres are.

He should not be let anywhere near our club regardless of how cheap he is.

Geremi. Mourinho claimed he had teh legs and stamina or 40 year old. More dodgy African birth certificates?

Much improved 2nd half performance in fairness, but the 1st half showing was indeed utterly diabolical. I thought they were goners - fair play for bucking their ideas up.
