not really surprised but will the FA do anything about it
Would love to see Big Sam's face if it's proved hes being handing money over in a dirty white envelope to Willy MacKay.... ;)
It comes at the same time as the enquiry into corruption - so yes they probably will - but depends on what he's done too....
No surprise to me.
The wheeler dealers of the Premiership.
Was worried we may have been implicated from the Houllier era though. Some eyebrow raising deals aplenty!

You won't be able to miss it. His head's bigger than the moon.
hope they nail his ass to the wall - arrogant cvnt.
Having said that, he was very complimentary about Peter Crouch during the World Cup. Still a cvnt though.

If he is implicated he'll blame referees, agents, chairmen, opponents, linesmen, "the cameras", the pitch, the groundsman, Osama bin Laden, Tony Blair, the greenhouse effect, climate change, big Ron and dark matter.....
Everyone will be to blame except him, he's like a little 5 year old in the playground : "I didn't do it"

Houllier as well? For contributing to the economy of france with the purchase of junks during his tenure as LFC manager.
Collymore, the agent caught up in all of this who claimed to have setup bungs with up to 8 clubs is Salif Diao's agent. Uh oh.
Any idea if Liverpool will be mentioned at all in it?

We'll find out soon enough...
the imes correspendant has said he expects that at least one maybe two/three premiership managers will resign in the next couple of days, IF the allegations in the Program are proved right.

What a load of rubbish.
There was a five second clip of Paco Herrera saying, 'um...er....yeah.....er...'.
There is ZERO evidence that we did anything wrong.
Really cant believe the BBC spent 12 months putting that together.

All we said was "We'd be interested in him when he turns 17 and can sign a pro-contract." it was the agent who did most of the talking saying that he wanted to leave Boro etc...
We never offered money on that clip and obviously didn't or they would have aired it where as Chelsea offered £150,000 for him over 2 or 3 years.

I suppose in a sense we did but what it didn't say was whether we approached the agent or he approached us.
Technically it was tapping up. We were discussing signing a player without permission of his club. Mind you it was all very casual in what they showed we offered no money and said we might be interested when he was 17.
Boro have just confirmed that an illegal approach was made for porrit and the expert on 5live things chelski might be deducted 3 points this season....

Yeah that's how I saw it. It was more of an informal chat about a player wanting to leave a club rather than us making a firm approach. The chavs on the other hand offered cash which will, hopefully, get them the 3 point deduction that they were threatned with.

So were we mentioned by Boro on 5 live?
Premier league have said that the suspended points wont apply as it is a different situation with youth players.......different contracts, different infringment of the rules....

From the PA:
Chelsea will not face any possible points deduction even if Panorama's claims they made an illegal approach for an England youth player are substantiated.
The Blues were given a suspended three-point deduction by the Premier League following the Ashley Cole 'tapping up' case. Chelsea are currently the subject of a joint investigation by the Premier League and Football Association over claims by Leeds of illegal approaches for three academy players last season.
The BBC's Panorama programme has now alleged Chelsea's director of youth football Frank Arnesen offered Middlesbrough's 15-year-old midfielder Nathan Porritt £150,000 over three years to move clubs. However, even if Chelsea are found to have breached any regulations with regard to the academy players the suspended points deduction from the Cole case will not apply.
It is understood one Premier League regulation covers illegal approaches for contracted players, and a separate regulation covers approaches for academy players.
Chelsea would have to be found guilty of another breach of the rule regarding contracted players for the points deduction to come into force.
With regard to the Arnesen allegations, Chelsea told the BBC no industry rules had been breached. It is understood Arnesen was approached by Porritt's agent Peter Harrison rather than Chelsea making the initial inquiry.
The Panorama programme said: "In a meeting with the agent Peter Harrison he [Arnesen] offers a financial inducement to one of the game's brightest prospects, Middlesbrough's England youth star Nathan Porritt.
"At the meeting, also attended by undercover reporter Knut auf dem Berge, Arnesen says he is willing to offer the Teesside club's 15-year-old £150,000 spread over three years to induce him away."
Porritt's agent also offers the player to Liverpool, and a club official talks positively about signing him when he is 17. Liverpool too have told the BBC they have not breached any industry rules.

He applied for the job when Ged left. He didnt get past the first stage. In other words he was fucked right off. You'll notice he only started hating us once Rafa took over.
They're focusing on Fat Sam and chelski - we haven't even been mentioned. Sam's denying he's done anything wrong. That's about it really. A couple of bolton fans on saying "so what" done nothing wrong.

You're right there about his hatred of us being quite new and I had noticed that he has a dislike of Rafa. I remeber about the time of Rafas appointment he was moaning to the press that English manager never had a chance to manage to big 4 nowadays.
I've always thought he was a dick and I'm glad that he never came to us and has been exposed for being a bit of a dodgy character.

They would say that though wouldn't they! By they I mean Sam and the Bolton fans.
Just think that when we go there in 2 weeks we could be facing a club managerless and in turmoil. It could be a good time to play them!:D

Sorry, private joke. Nothing to see here. Carry on....
I'm surprised no-one on here hasn't mentioned the bit about the club that was trying to sign the player from France, which they showed a fuzzed out picture of the player running. To me, this player looked like Evra.
But from what I gathered (the little 'un was playing up at the time!) nothing much was mentioned on the programme about the deal and they moved onto the next story.
My take on the rest of the programme is that Allardyce and Redknapp didn't come out of it smelling of roses ;) and we could see more developments on the programme reaction soon regarding these two. Just my opinion though.
