whats the crack with the beckham crap going around at the minute the mans just a self publicist the mirror coincides his I'm devastated to be dropped by england exclusive with blatant adverts for his new training schools every TV interview is peppered with a mention of the said schools mostly with pictures of him holding his new book, a journalist once said beckham is always the first player to run over and congratulate the real Madrid scorer not because of enthusiasm but to make sure his picture is in the Spanish press the next day.its doin my head in.:rant:

He was on Chris Moyles on Monday morning and everyone has taken quotes from that, and yes he did plug his soccer schools.

I don't get the Beckham vitriol. He should be in the England squad. Not the starting XI, but he's still good enough for the bench.

There is no fucking way that Phil Neville and Jenas are better than Beckham.
He may be a media whore, and a bit thick, but he seems a genuinely nice guy to me. Which is more than can be said for a lot of footballers.

:handshake: I agree. I don't really mind the bloke at all. Don't think he's a world class player or anything but he is good and has a professional attitude to the game. He doesn't really annoy me that much, certainly not in the way arrogant twats like Cashley Cole do.

Were we disagree is Beckham isn't doing this for purely altruistic means.
Like Shaggy and yourself i certainly don't hate the bloke, and it's disappointing that he, along with Sven have been made the scapegoats for the WC. When patently England were never on to win the WC anyway IMHO.
That aside it's a new era for England and perhaps its best to move on without Beckham, rightly or wrongly. Perhaps we (the fans) are ignorant of the influence Beckham has at the core of the England setup.

maybe i got my info wrong on this but im sure most of the kids will be charged for joining these schools,if not i till think he is a publicity seeking twat.;)

Beckham is a colpete pro who is giing back to the comunity adn it appears these schools ar free.

Although he's in every newspaper every day, he still isn't half bad as Cashley Cole, Gary 'shags his mom up the sh!ter' Neville and Frank Fatcunt!
If I'm honest... In England shirt I like Gerrard, Crouch, Carra... And then Beckham... Maybe Hargreaves and Lennon, but that's it! I hate other twats, especially CSKA London and Scum players...
