Jumpers or goal posts ?

What do you prefer ? I think most of my favourite football was played with
jumpers for goalposts , you know the 20 a side games that last until it gets
dark , "Bat out of hell" playing out on someones getto blaster , overcoming going down to 19 players if someone has to home early ,no letting the kid who owns the ball go home early ,even though you know his dads going to kick his ass.

Jumpers yes. But most of the time we played three and in. Everybody fancied themselves as Ray Clemence or Pat Jennings.

if there were no footballs there was always an old tennis ball, basket ball etc and at worse a squashed cola can in the school yard.
never bottles, too unpredictable. (sort of like todays footballs)

We also did fluorescent sock on the tennis ball ,and burning tennis ball for night time games , our school pitch was next to a cow field ,so if you kicked it over you had to go amongst the cows to get it back ," are they bulls or cows? " , a field of bulls ,lol.

Fuck, i loved that game! Spotted a 40 yard pass at lunchtime ran on to it superbly and connected perfectly as it dropped over my shoulder with the goal gaping...

Hit the fucking ceiling directly above me(indoor height) - years of training as a kid payed dividends there :o
