how good is he?

I've only seen him in action a few times and haven't been that impressed really. I know he fancies himself to be world champ one day but has he got what it takes? Him and Dodson have finally arranged a date for their scrap and as a fellow scouser - I'll be siding with Dodson. Naturally.

when i first watched him a while back i was impressed especially with his style an almost replica style to one of my boxing heroes don curry, but thats where the similarity ends in his last few fights he as labored and become very untidy and frustrating to watch, in other words his boxing brain does not match his fighting style, having said that i think he is a lot more durable than people think and if he reaches any sort of the potential he thinks he has Dodson's in for an hard fight.

I think That it's hard to guage how good Froch actually is because up until now he hasn't really faced anyone of note. He seems confident in his ability but doesn't really back it up in the ring.

The one main problem that I see in him is that he thinks he's that good so probably wouldn't be open to changing his style for the good of his career.

I don't rate Froch at all. Maybe, at best, he will be a good European level fighter, but not at world class. I reckon his ego is writing cheques that his body will never be able to cash.

I do not think he has any outstanding quality in the ring, and that he can be outworked and outboxed with frightening regularity for a fighter that has notions about being world class.
