I would change the time the ref blew his whistle on that fateful day in 1989 against Arsenal

      *shivers*

I still have vivid memories of Steve McMahon asking the ref asking 'how long' and then relaying 'one minute' using his index finger to his team mates. I don't think you should ever ask how long is left, just keep playing.

One thing I'd have liked is Gary McAllister to have signed back in 1992, instead of having to wait another 9 years. He'd have been the type of player to build a team around in the mid nineties. Failing that, Cantona instead of Kozma?

if I could find a way I'd take back all the things that have hurt you. Oh, and kneecap Souness and Cantona in the early nineties.

Change the ref in the semi final of Shanks first European Cup campaign away to intermilan in the second leg.
He was deffinately paid off :whatever:
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

            * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Mine too has be no Souness for manager - not being able to just fondly remember him as a great Liverpool player is a bit sad.

A more recent thing is I wish Rooney was born into a Reds family.

Difficult to pick ONE, would wishing Abrahmovic was born near Chernobyl be very un-pc?

                  Some others;

We'd never have signed Michael Thomas (good player but I just couldn't look at him without remembering.....)

We'd have signed the old Zidane and Viera rather than the "new" ones

The s*n boycott would have gone national and put the rag out of business

Souness would have left us to manage the Mancs :-)

oh, and we'd never have even heard of Emile Heskey

My memory is a little vague, but I wonder if Mark Robins had never scored for Manure in an important game (semi v Norwich?), and Slur Alex had been sacked, would we be trying to win League title 22 or 23 this season?

I'd have done in Cher for that song. Then we wouldn't have suffered "do you beleive in love"

On LFC we should have signed Keane, Schmiechel and Cuntona.

We should have gotten Pele and Maradonkey as well!
                              Just kidding!
