    Chavs go Bollywood

    From Yahoo News:

    Chelsea stars land Bollywood debut

Chelsea stars Frank Lampard and John Terry are being lined up to appear in a Bollywood blockbuster.

The Premiership club has a starring role in the film, titled Jhoom.

It features Bollywood heart-throb Abhishek Bachchan as a devoted Chelsea fan. :whatever:

The film will be partially shot in London and will include footage of the players in action. Producers are in talks to give Chelsea's star players and manager Jose Mourinho walk-on parts.

Chelsea hope the movie will boost their popularity in India and persuade British Asians to take more of an interest in the club.

"Naturally we are delighted to be involved in a Bollywood movie and we take it as a big compliment to be approached with this storyline and to be associated with this calibre of actors and actresses," said the club's business affairs director Paul Smith.

Bachchan is a Chelsea fan in real life and was recently spotted in the stands at Stamford Bridge with former Miss World Aishwarya Rai.

He said: "The character I play in the film is a very loyal Chelsea fan.

"I have now had the chance to see Chelsea live after following them over the last few years and the club have given me a jersey with my character's name, Ricky, on it.

"The Premier League is very popular in India and Chelsea has a huge support over there, which is growing all the time."

    do they bolloxs :whatever:

they must have offered him this role after his inspired performances in the Tesco and NOTW ad's. Footballers ( Stevie G included ) must really need the money to make such fools of themselves, maybe to pay for the shopping trips their WAG's take.

Well yes! The only thing I supported and still support is the Carlsberg add that features Stevie, Pepe, Sissy, Carra and Xabi. I guess they (players) didn't have a chance to say no because after all, Carlsberg is Liverpool's sponsor... But to appear in a movie, knowing that you'll get much stick because of it... Well... That can only be Chavs - Fatcunt in particular!
