Has had his leg amputated. The poor guy is in a coma after a serious car crash and has had to have his leg amputated from the knee down.:sigh:

Hopefully he pulls through.

Feel awful for the poor fella. Reports today suggest he's lucid, so he knows, at least, that he's lost his leg. Must be awful waking up to find that's happened, especially when, as suggested, he was looking for a new club.

Absolutely devastating for anyone, never mind someone who relied 100% on his legs for a living. Poor fecker, hopefully he had some decent insurance etc. I'm guessing he can expect fuck all from the Uruguayan PFA.
