considering im half "wog" i feel i have every right to use the term:crackoff:

anyway, why cant anyone have nicknames anymore? Pom, Aussie, Yank......etc etc...these seem ok to use.....but I-tie isnt?:shake:
sad world where we cant have a bit of fun, ive got no problem with anyone calling me an Aussie.;) Generally you can tell when there is a racial connotation involved, eg making monkey noises when a black player gets the ball.....now that is racist- and should be dealt with. Having a nickname for another countries people isnt IMO.

feel free to discuss.:D

I'm not at all keen on any of the terms you mention, they're all pretty derogatory to me. Is **** OK? I don't really see the difference.

Thanks for not taking it personally. It wasn't meant to be a personal attack at all. :handshake:

The derogatory term for an Italian in the German language is "Spaghetti-fresser" ...i.e. spaghetti muncher.

Kind of tame, IMO.

Its cool Youngie:handshake:

Its really borderline on how you say these terms.....they can be said in a very derogatory way...but they can be said in a way where they seem ok.

Anyway i meant no harm in what i said, i have many italian friends, they would know i meant nothing by it.

Meanwhile, a Viennese person is called "Schnitzelface" by Austrians from outside of Vienna.

:haha:

I also think that is harmless enough...

schnitzel is pork covered in breadcrumbs.

But it is well flattened before coating, so ie. flat as a pankake face.

I'm not sure that Neil knows that wog means something different in Australia. Aplogies if he does.
