i must admit outside of seeing the smiling faces on our players the sight of his face like thunder has me chuckling away

He's trying to accustom Berbatov it's clear as he'll be their main focus in their attack. Rooney and Tevez can play in a number of positions and are both tactically aware. I don't think they'll have a problem with it, they just need tweaking.

They have a problem.

Berbatov, Tevez and Rooney can't play together unless you sacrifice one of them into a wide role. Fergie's taken the edge out of Rooney's game by making him Ronaldo's bitch last season, and now he's going to be doing all the running for Berbatov as well. He just can't get the best out of his strikers if they are all on the pitch at the same time.

They need to play two of them at a time, but I suspect they won't because Ferguson wants to keep them happy. And the thing is, other than Ronaldo, they don't have very good options out wide. Giggs has been poor, Park is just a workhorse and Nani is a nancy boy who has one good game out of five.
