    Moore V's Macklin tonight.

I'd recommend any boxing fans to watch this tonight at 10P.M. on SS1. It should be a cracking fight between 2 of our best young domestic fighters.

Have been looking forward to this. I'm going out tonight so I'll have to tape it (I haven't got a dvd recorder yet !!!. Povvy boy eh?)

Who d'ya fancy Kurt? I thought Moore was destined for better things when he was younger - but he's failed to live up to expectations for me. He's good - but not as good as I thought he would be.

I've got a feeling that Moore might win this one although I could see it going either way to be honest. I can't see it going to the scorecards either, whoever wins this one will win it by K.O. IMHO.

Yeah it's quite comfy on the fence.

If I had to stick my neck out I'd probably go for Moore by K.O. not sure which round though.

this could be some some fight, macklins going for it already good upper cuts, but moore looks to be bidding his time and throwing good jabs.(what the fuk am doing here coming on like reg gutteridge) going back to the fight.

sometimes i feel guilty for loving this sport, having boxed myself albeit not at an high level for 4 years i cant help thinking we are baying for blood in a barbaric sport where the aim of the fight is for one of the fighters to render the other unconscious.

What I can'd understand is why Macklin's corner didn't tell him to slow down - and take things a little easier. He was going at such a pace that he was never gonna be able to go 12 rounds. I said to my wife at the end of the 9th round that I can't see Macklin lasting much longer - and so it turned out. He's a very lucky man - things could have been far worse.........

IMO Billy Graham is culpable for this defeat. I think he overestimated macklin's power and energy and got the tactics wrong - very nearly with dire consequences.
