Even if Chelsea dont win, you'd still need Bordeaux to win in Roma. Which wont happen.

Chelsea aint going out, sadly.

He said he would go to Brazil but that was meant as a joke. No, I don't think he would resign, I think Roman would make sure that Chelsea win the UEFA Cup instead.

Are Roma already though? They may play a weak team thus leaving the door open for Bordeaux to sneak a win.... (clutching at straws here :D )

Sadly not. If Roma lose and Chelsea win, Roma will go out.

We need Chelsea to draw or lose at home and Roma to lose at home.

If Chelsea only draw, Roma can afford to lose and still go through but if Chelsea win, Roma must not lose to Bordeaux. And if Roma dont lose to Bordeaux, Chelsea are through regardless of their own result.

Yeah sadly its not straighforward and highly unlikely.

It would be hilarious to see Chelsea dumped into the Uefa Cup though

Cluj were very good actually. Got overrun at the end, but they matched Chelsea for a good hour. And their goal was perfect.
