Why do people keep missing the Van off certain Dutch players names? The guy is called Van Persie, not Persie, Bob. The Mc in your name is part of your surname right?

Also, it's VAN Nistelrooy, not Nistelrooy. No-one misses it off when it's Van Der Vaart or Van Der Saar.

I've also spelt van Persie's name 'percy' - lower case and all. It's an intentional slight on players not at our club.
