A follow up to Bob's excellent thread 'Beginning of the end', this article is fascinating and chilling, and relates to fears concerning advancedment in science & technology.

Should i add that the author of this article is a fucking genius, Bill Joy.

yeah the thing that shocked me was the GNR nano technology about how it could be used as a weapon and it could be focused on a certain group.

If you have the time, google for nanotech and you'll find lots of articles about that ... it's fascinating and the things that could be done with that is incredible.
