Aguero: I'll leave Atletico Madrid for Premiership
31.12.08 | tribalfootball.com
Sergio Aguero admits if he is to leave Atletico Madrid, it will be for the Premiership.
The Argentina star revealed: "My agents have signed a contract with Atletico until 2012 and, given that there is an agreement of cooperation regarding image rights, it seems that I will have a long stay in Madrid.
"But in football you never know what is ahead and therefore I cannot exclude that one day I'm going to play in England, just like Fernando Torres."
I know that it's tribal but posted it anyway, it's after all silly season time.
if all we did in the summer was sign this lad then it'd be a good transfer window.
This would be :jizz: worthy, however unlikely moneywise.

In theory thats possible.....
He is the calibre of player we should be looking at from now on. We have a great squad but there is room for improvement. Aguero, Maxi and Di Maria would be nice signings next summer providing we have new owners.

Maxi has really impressed me this season. I wouldn't mind us going for him this season instead of Lafita
It's not beyond the realms of possibility. If we win the prem and get as far as CL semi's again for instance AND we have new owners next summer then Aguero is the calibre of player we should and IMO would be looking to bring to Anfield. It would be the ultimate message of intent to the rest of the prem and europe that we don't intent resting on out laurels. Rafa is building a dynasty that will last for years to come. Mancs must be shitting themselves at the prospect of slur alex retiring when we are on the ascendancy.

We would also be his first choice and he would turn down other clubs to join us IMO. Just like Torres did.

It would seem that if we would need to sell Keane in order to bring in Aguero - a sacrifice I am more than happy to make.
But all of this is hypothetical so its more pipe dream than anything else.
we can only wish..until then,,,

We don't need to sign him. It's a perfectly good chant for fredo.
We could have a daily minute two-minute hate like in '1984.'
