    Why cant things ever...

    run smoothy at Liverpool FC?

    Up until Christmas we were flying on all fronts - top of the league, relations between Rafa and the Yanks seemed to be getting better, Gerrard was finding form, Keane seemed to getting over his sticky patch.
    Then all of a sudden Gerrard gets himself arrested, Rafa ****s the team about, confusion over Rafa's future at the club returns and we cant seem to win a game in the league.

    We had a very bad patch this time last year, too. Then it ruined our chances of the league. This time we had a better starting point - a win at Wigan on Wednesday could still push us to the title.
    I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

      chin up fella, we are still very well placed overall, every team has a sticky patch. Thing to remember is to have paitence and to stay calm

            We dont do things the easy way. Even when we were cruising against Newcastle I was convinced that something bad was gonna happen. Not because of the pessimism. It is just the way we do it.

            Even if we win the league this year, it will be because of a 94th minutes pile driver from Stevie or Xabi from our own half. I am convinced. and That will be after we have come back from an impossible position to level the game and again let the opposition take the lead.

              I tend to agree with you, I just dont know why we are made to suffer for our triumphs
